1. General policy
Refund eligibility depends on the service purchased, when the request is made, whether the service has been used, and any applicable law. This policy applies to purchases made directly from WezCloud unless a product page or separate agreement states otherwise.
Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically guarantee a refund. We will review the request and communicate the outcome using the contact details on your account.
2. Shared hosting services
Suggested policy choice: Decide whether to offer a limited first-purchase refund period for eligible shared hosting plans. If you choose to offer one, replace this paragraph with your exact period before publishing.
Example wording if you choose a 7-day window: “A refund may be requested within 7 calendar days of the first purchase of an eligible shared hosting plan. This window applies to the initial hosting purchase only and does not automatically apply to renewals, upgrades, add-ons, or other products.”
Hosting fees outside the stated eligibility window, or after a renewal has been processed, may not be refundable except where required by law. Do not publish the example window unless you intend to honor it.
3. Domain names
Domain registrations, renewals, and transfers are generally not refundable once submitted to or completed by the relevant registrar or registry, because the registration cost may be irreversible. Exceptions may apply if the transaction fails, is duplicated, or a refund is required by applicable law or the provider's rules.
Domain availability is not guaranteed until registration is confirmed. If a domain cannot be registered, we will review the order and refund any eligible amount paid for that unsuccessful registration.
4. Other products & add-ons
Fees for third-party licenses, software, SSL certificates, paid migrations, setup work, and other add-ons may be non-refundable once provisioned or delivered, subject to the product terms and applicable law. Any product-specific refund terms shown at checkout will also apply.
5. How to request a cancellation
- Sign in to your WezCloud client area and submit a cancellation request for the relevant service, or contact our support team.
- Clearly state the service or domain, your reason for cancellation, and whether you are requesting a refund.
- Submit the request before the next renewal date to help avoid future billing. A cancellation request may not stop an invoice already due or a renewal already processed.
- Before cancelling hosting, download your website files, databases, email, and other data. Access may be removed after cancellation or termination.
6. Refund review & processing
We will review eligible requests and may ask for information needed to identify the order or investigate a billing issue. Approved refunds will generally be returned through the original payment method where supported by the payment provider.
Processing times depend on the payment provider and bank. Any non-refundable transaction, currency conversion, or third-party fee will be handled according to the terms disclosed at purchase and applicable law.
7. Exceptions & legal rights
We may decline a refund where the purchase falls outside the published eligibility rules, subject to applicable law. This does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded, including rights relating to failed or duplicate transactions, or any mandatory consumer protections.
We do not use this policy to exclude remedies required by law for services that were not provided as agreed.
